At Beckman Coulter Diagnostics (part of Danaher), our automated reagent manufacturing lines support over a million diagnostic tests every hour—work that reaches 1.2 billion patients annually.
Where you’ll work
On‑site in Chaska, MN, embedded with the Manufacturing Process Engineering team in an FDA‑regulated environment.
What you’ll tackle
- Restore uptime fast across PLC/HMI (Rockwell), robotics, vision, motion, mechanical, and electrical systems.
- Hunt down root causes of automation, process, or material issues and lock in durable fixes.
- Support installs, commissioning, and qualification of new/updated equipment; maintain accurate technical records and collaborate across functions and with suppliers.
What you bring
- Associate degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or similar, and 6+ years supporting automated manufacturing equipment.
- Hands‑on depth in electrical and mechanical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, robotics, vision, and PLC/HMI platforms, including reading schematics and working safely (LOTO, NFPA 70E).
- Clear communicator and proven problem‑solver who can flex to off‑shift or on‑call needs.
Nice to have
- Lean Six Sigma and data analysis to improve quality, throughput, and reliability.
- Experience in regulated manufacturing with strong quality system discipline.
- ISA CCST/CAP or similar automation certifications (earned or in progress).

The hourly range for this role is $38.47 - $43.27. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
