Position Summary:
The Product S&O Senior Manager will report to the Head of Services Innovation, Digital Health and will be instrumental in defining how Samsung approaches health services while building playbooks and processes for product development and GTM in a new Services Innovation group.
We are looking for an experienced and motivated candidate with expertise in 0 to 1 and/or transformational initiatives in digital health, to join Samsung Electronics' North America Health team in services innovation. In this position, you will play a key role in changing the trajectory of Samsung Health.
The scope includes new product launches, with a focus on revenue generation amidst partner ecosystems. You will be responsible for collaborating closely with various internal teams such as Product, Legal, Compliance, Privacy, Finance, Accounting, Analytics, and Marketing, as well as external stakeholders in digital health, technology, healthcare, and other sectors.
Your goal is to architect product development and revenue generation infrastructure that aligns with Samsung Health’s business vision and customer experience principles by combining your technical and domain expertise, business insight, logical thinking, and presentation abilities.
The ideal candidate will possess both a strategic operations background that enables them to drive engagements and interact at the commercialization level, as well as a digital health related technical background that enables them to lead large cross-functional teams.
Role and Responsibilities

- Lead the development of playbooks, business cases, and processes for new health services products and the underlying infrastructure to support these launches
- Develop and present innovative opportunities associated with new initiatives, evaluating feasibility and financial viability of the business case, to executives, launch team, and partners, gaining their agreement and support
- Lead cross-functional initiatives with various internal teams such as Product, Privacy, Compliance, Regulatory, and Marketing across different regions including US, Korea, and India, as well as external strategic partners to ensure timely and high-quality launches
- Drive forward privacy and regulatory review and Go-To-Market plans for new or fast-growing products
- Translate B2B customer feedback into the appropriate playbooks and infrastructure in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders
- Contribute to the development and execution of the Health Team’s strategy

Skills and Qualifications
Qualifications/Skills
- 8+ years of experience in management consulting, BizOps, ProdOps, privacy programs, product, and related disciplines
- Experience leading product and privacy programs and leading cross-functional teams and external partners for implementation
- Deep understanding of the mobile & digital health space with fluency in business models and knowledge of the competitive and regulatory landscape
- A drive to succeed, driven by a passion for products, and a deep understanding of customer experience
- Ability to leverage business cases and an understanding of development capacity to prioritize product roadmaps
- Proficiency in Korean language is desirable, but not mandatory
- Ability to deal with ambiguity, solve complex problems, navigate large, global organizations and apply logical thinking
- Professional services or advising and implementation experience
Physical/Mental Demands and Working Conditions:
- Work is generally performed in an office environment.
- This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers, and reach with hands and arms.
- Under very little direct supervision with a high level of responsibility to apply general policies and guidelines where decisions are seldom monitored and consequences of decisions adversely affect operating results and management decisions.
- Complete access to confidential company data where disclosure may jeopardize the company’s competitive position.
- Able to travel domestically or internationally, when required, to meet partners, development team, or other stakeholders.
Compensation for this role, for candidates based in Mountain View, CA, is expected to be between $165,000 ~ $210,000. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
