Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Account Development Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role is responsible for generating and nurturing leads, managing customer relationships, and driving sales growth. In addition to inside sales duties, this position will also contribute to social media marketing efforts, coordinate trade show participation, and represent the company at industry events. The ideal candidate has strong interpersonal skills, sales expertise, and a solid understanding of data communications networking technology.

Sales Duties:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers through outbound calls, emails, and virtual meetings.
  • Generate and qualify leads, manage sales pipelines, and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate products or solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies for increasing revenue.

Social Media & Marketing Support:

  • Assist in managing and creating content for company social media channels (LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Monitor social media engagement and respond to customer inquiries.
  • Work with marketing to develop campaigns that align with sales objectives.

Trade Show Coordination & Attendance:

  • Register, plan and coordinate logistics for trade show participation, including booth setup and promotional materials.
  • Represent the company at industry trade shows and networking events.
  • Engage with potential customers, generate leads, and follow up post-event.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, preferably in B2B sales.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to build relationships.
  • Knowledge of data communications networking technology or a related industry is a plus.
  • Experience with CRM software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for trade shows and industry events.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with social media marketing and content creation.
  • Background in event coordination or trade show management.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and analytics platforms.
