In this essential role, you will administer radiopharmaceuticals and perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures, helping diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions. Key Responsibilities of the Polysomnographer:
• Conduct and monitor overnight polysomnographic studies.
• Apply electrodes and sensors to patients following standardized procedures.
• Monitor and record physiological data, including EEG, EOG, EMG, ECG, and respiratory signals.
• Recognize and document abnormal sleep patterns and physiological events.
• Provide patient education on sleep disorders and testing procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and infection control protocols.
• Generate detailed reports and assist physicians in diagnosing sleep disorders.
To qualify for this role, you must have:
BLS Certification (required)
VA license (required)
2+ years of experience as a Polysomnographer and RPSGT certified.
