Work Location: Olive Township, MI (ONSITE)
Role Overview
The Supervisor, Production leads day-to-day operations at a power generation facility, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient plant performance. This role supervises operations staff, sets daily priorities, supports troubleshooting, and works closely with maintenance and support teams to meet operational and safety goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead operations personnel, including bargaining unit employees, in power plant operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, procedures, and union contract requirements.
- Coordinate daily work activities and priorities with cross-functional teams.
- Act as first-line support for equipment and system troubleshooting.
- Lead operating evolutions, inspections, and job execution to ensure quality and safety.
- Support continuous improvement through Lean methods, problem-solving, and waste elimination.
- Participate in operating reviews and special projects.
- Complete basic administrative tasks including time approval and on-call rotation.
