At Holiday Inn Club Vacations, the Senior Financial Analyst plays a key role in shaping financial strategies that support our mission of delivering unforgettable vacation experiences to our members and guests. This role provides advanced financial planning and analysis in support of our package sales, tour and travel, and fulfillment initiatives. The Analyst partners with leaders across the business to deliver accurate forecasts, insightful reporting, and actionable recommendations that drive profitability and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

  • Assist with the development of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range plans across marketing, sales, and inventory management.
  • Build and maintain advanced financial models for package production, tour and travel, and package fulfillment.
  • Monitor key drivers (call volume, conversion, package production and usage) against plan and identify performance gaps.
  • Compensation/ Recognition & Awards design and implementation.
  • Provide scenario and sensitivity analyses to guide strategic decisions.

Reporting & Insights

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly executive-level financial reports highlighting performance, efficiency, and operational targets.
  • Deliver clear business insights to support leadership decisions on new owner acquisition, tour flow, and expense management.
  • Support senior leadership and corporate reporting requirements with accurate and timely deliverables.

Business Partnership

  • Collaborate with Contact Center Operations, Sales & Marketing Leadership, and Inventory Management teams to improve financial outcomes and operational efficiency.
  • Provide financial support for initiatives such as call center optimization and new channel lead acquisition.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to operational leaders by translating financial performance into actionable strategies

Process & Systems

  • Drive improvements in reporting automation, forecasting accuracy, and financial system utilization.
  • Partner with IT and Data Analytics to enhance dashboards and KPIs related to guest behavior, lead conversion, and package usage performance.
  • Ad-hoc strategic analysis

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required
  • Minimum five (5) years of progressive experience in financial analysis or corporate finance, ideally in hospitality, vacation ownership, or travel industry.

Qualifications

  • Technical Skills
  • Advanced Excel modeling and financial analysis capabilities.
  • Proficiency with financial reporting/BI tools (e.g., Hyperion, Essbase, Microsoft Dynamics AX, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Familiarity with SQL preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Soft Skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, member-focused environment.
  • Strong problem-solving, business acumen, and attention to detail.

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job the employee may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Will be required to bend, twist, reach, push, pull, and operate office machinery. The majority of work will be performed in a climate-controlled environment but may be exposed to inclement weather and varying degrees of temperature on occasion.
