Position Overview
Jeffco Enterprises, LLC is seeking a motivated and dependable Plumber Apprentice / Laborer to join our growing team. This position is ideal for an individual looking to build a long-term career in the plumbing and mechanical trades while gaining hands-on field experience under skilled professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems
- Perform general labor duties including digging, trenching, lifting, and material handling
- Support installation of water, sanitary, storm, and gas piping systems
- Maintain tools, equipment, and job site cleanliness
- Load/unload materials and organize work vehicles
- Follow all safety procedures and company protocols
- Assist with demolition and site preparation as required
- Learn to read blueprints and understand plumbing layouts
- Organize and Clean Plumbing Warehouse, Equipment and Vehicles
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to perform physical labor (lifting 50+ lbs, working outdoors in various conditions)
- Valid drivers license preferred
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites
- Basic mechanical aptitude a plus (not required)
- Ability to work well in a team environment
Preferred (But Not Required)
- Prior construction or labor experience
- Interest in pursuing a plumbing apprenticeship or trade certification
