Warehouse Coordinator
Job Requirements:
- Assist the Materials Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Order Fulfillment and Receiving Department.
- Perform cycle counts according to procedure
- Finalize customer orders through order fulfillment process
- Prepare shipments: Pick, wrap, package, box and stage orders to be shipped
- Receive parts, count and verify each receipt with proper accounting in ERP System, then stock items in proper locations.
- Issue materials or component parts to production using ERP System Ensure cleanliness and safe work environment.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Communicates and collaborates with other entities, Production, Quality, Accounting and Purchasing
- Ability to handle multiple tasks along with working independently
- Strong computer skills – proficient in Microsoft Office software such as Excel, Word, etc. knowledge of how to scan / save files electronically – ex. pdf’s
- 2 -5 years of experience working in a warehouse or similar environment
- Understands processes associated with shipping: LTL, FTL, Fed Ex and UPS.
- Proof of US Citizenship
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
- Lift up to 50 lbs following safe lifting practices
- Push or pull up to 100 lbs. on a regular basis
- Stand or walk up to ¾ of the time, able to walk up / down stair ladders
- Twist, bend or squat on a regular basis
Use of the following equipment:
· Box cutter
· Tape gun
· Pallet Jack
· Floor Scales
· Manual stretch wrapping
· Other miscellaneous hand tools
· Forklift
Education
· High School Diploma or Equivalent
