About Our Client:
Addison Group is hiring an Onboarding Specialist on behalf of our client. This contract role supports the HR and onboarding functions within a fast-paced and collaborative organization. It’s a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in a professional HR environment with a partially remote schedule.
Job Description:
The Onboarding Specialist will coordinate all aspects of the new hire onboarding process and provide administrative support to the HR team. This role ensures all employee information, documentation, and records are accurate, compliant, and up to date.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guide new hires through onboarding and ensure all required forms and documentation are completed accurately.
- Enter and maintain employee data in the HRIS system.
- Review I-9 documents, complete E-Verify, and process employment authorizations.
- Coordinate employee ID badge creation, updates, and replacements.
- Maintain onboarding materials and ensure all documentation is current and accessible.
- Serve as a point of contact for HR-related inquiries and employee support.
- Process employee data changes, rehires, and terminations in the HR system.
- Maintain organized digital employee records and ensure compliance with internal policies.
- Audit HR data and documentation for accuracy.
Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of experience in onboarding.
- Experience with HRIS systems.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Additional Details:
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, flexible hours between 7:30 AM – 6:30 PM.
- Remote: Fridays are remote.
- Employment Type: Contract (through end of year, covering a leave).
