Job Title: Sales Coordinator

Overview: The Sales Coordinator to join our sales team has excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a proactive attitude. The Sales Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the sales team, ensuring smooth operations, and contributing to the company’s strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales
o Generate MORE SALES with a focus on providing maximum enterprise profitability.
o Promote and sell all product initiatives.
o Meet all sales objectives.
o Assist with merchandising/marketing plans laid down by the Purchasing Team.
o Always maintain a clean and organized store front.
o When necessary, identify large customers and work with store management to ensure the customers' needs are met with a sense of urgency.
• Customer Service
o Create an AMAZING customer experience.
o Treat each workday as a chance to improve our customer service brand.
o Customer Communication
o Greet ALL customers who walk into the shop or call by phone.
o Maintain consistent and positive customer communication.
o Solve all product issues and concerns.
o Provide relevant marketing materials, info sheets, samples, etc.
Retail Store Operations
• Cashiering:
o Accurately process customer transactions at the Point of Sale.
o Follow all cashiering protocol laid out in the GreenCoast Cashier Manual to ensure all transactions are handled in an accurate and efficient manner.
o All cashiers will be held accountable for their actions.
• Receiving/Stocking/Warehouse:
o Receiving
o Assist with unloading deliveries trucks and inspect goods for defects and damage.
o Assist in all double checking of product orders received.
o Communicate all issues to management.
o Stocking
o Assist with labeling and stocking all products onto the shelves in a timely manner.
o Keep shelves fronted and stocked by frequently reviewing back stock items and moving them to the retail floor.
o Adhere to GCH store layout plans and directives, keeping store in compliance with GCH guidelines.
o Warehouse
o Ensure a culture of safety throughout the organization by following GreenCoast safety policies and procedures.
o Report discrepancies and problems to management.
o Assist in maintenance and installation of in-store displays
o Participate with any/all cleaning duties to always keep the store in prime condition
• Warranties & Returns:
o Process all RMAs in accordance with the internal SOP’s laid out by the Loss Prevention team as well as the guidelines provided by our various vendors.
• Special Orders
o Process Special order collects 50% deposit at the register.
o Track all relevant information onto Special Order Form.
o Immediately instruct the purchaser to place the order.
o Once Special Oder has been placed, contact customer with ETA.
o Once the product is received, label and store appropriately and complete the transaction with the customer as soon as possible.
• Inventory
o Assist in the physical inventory program at your GreenCoast store.
o Inventory Cycle Counts: Receive cycle count assignments from management and count through store inventory.
o Assist in discrepancy investigation.
o Global Counts: Assist with Global inventory counts as needed.
o Transfers: Help with inventory transfers when needed.
o Stale Inventory: Help with identifying stale inventory whenever possible.
o Ensure that all inventory issues are reported and resolved in a timely manner.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
• Sales execution on all sales related initiatives and promotions.
• Accuracy and timeliness of sales documentation.
• Response time to customer inquiries and follow-ups.
• Quality and effectiveness of administrative support provided to the sales team.
• Contribution to the overall efficiency and productivity of the sales department.
Key Challenges:
• Managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced sales environment.
• Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of sales records and documentation.
• Maintaining effective communication and coordination with the sales team and other departments.

Qualifications:
• 3 years of experience in a retail sales support role preferred.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Experience with event coordination and marketing support is a plus.
