Purpose of Position:
The Loader Associate has primary responsibility for making sure the correct nest run eggs are properly loaded onto the machine and the nest run supplies cleaned and stored.
Work Schedule: Work Schedule: 3:00 am – 7:00 am Monday to Friday and Saturdays as needed

Essential Duties:
- Transfer nest run eggs from pallets to the loader machine, ensuring it remains consistently stocked and that product is handled with care and professionalism.
- Move eggs from cooler storage to the loader as needed to maintain steady workflow.
- Accurately scan and track product by flock to ensure correct pallet loading and inventory accuracy.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of debris to support food safety and efficiency.
- Spin washed flats and stack them according to inventory needs, maintaining pace with production demands.
- Assist in troubleshooting minor loader issues; promptly contact maintenance for more complex problems beyond your ability to resolve.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Completion of general safety and basic food safety training (provided by WEF).
- Training in electric pallet jack and forklift operation (provided by WEF).
- Operates all equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
- Steel-toed or composite toe shoes required (WEF provides a shoe compensation plan)
- Ability to read, speak, and write in English is a must, but bilingual is a plus.
- The ability to interpret documents such as standard operating procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively to other employees.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Physical Requirements / Environmental Conditions:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand. The employee is required to lift and/or move up to 45 pounds daily. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, soaps and/or chemicals, outdoor weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to cold, and heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
