  • Job Title: Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)

    Location:San Diego, California
    Contract Dates: August 5, 2025 June 5, 2026
    Schedule: 35 hours/week | 5 days/week
    Pay Rate: $30$36/hour
    Age Group: Elementary
    Caseload: 3040 students across multiple school sites

    Position Overview:

    We are currently hiring a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time, school-based position serving elementary students during the 20252026 academic year. The SLPA will support students across multiple school sites under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. A minimum of 12 years of experience in a school setting is preferred.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language services aligned with IEP goals under SLP supervision

  • Support students in both individual and small group settings

  • Assist with preparing materials, progress documentation, and treatment notes

  • Follow treatment plans and assist in implementing therapy strategies

  • Communicate and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families

  • Travel between multiple school sites (mileage reimbursement if applicable)

  • Qualifications:
  • Active California SLPA Certification Required

  • 12 years of school-based SLPA experience Preferred

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to manage a varied caseload across multiple sites
