Our client is seeking a Procurement Analyst to support the Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), a DHS agency. The right candidate will have 10+ years of professional experience and at least 5 years of hands-on procurement experience. This isn’t your typical procurement role. We need someone with experience with data analysis and process improvement experience. This hybrid role (3-5 days onsite in Arlington, VA) requires a current DHS Fitness Determination/Clearance.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Active DHS Fitness Determination/Clearance (required)
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 10+ years of professional experience
- 5 years of procurement experience
- Familiar with some data analysis tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Python, r, etc.) that are more advanced than Excel
- Experience with process improvement
- Ability to track vendor performance and manage large portfolios
- Excellent communication, detail orientation, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:
- Monitor procurement requests and maintain daily tracking metrics, dashboards, and data feeds
- Deliver division-level insights through business intelligence and performance metrics analysis
- Design data visualizations using Microsoft 365 tools, including Power BI, Excel, and SharePoint
- Conduct independent financial research and analysis using strong critical thinking skills
- Lead business process improvement initiatives through requirements analysis and workflow optimization
- Investigate functional issues and recommend corrective actions to enhance efficiency
- Produce accurate daily and ad hoc financial reports, resolving data anomalies promptly
- Maintain SharePoint and Teams sites, ensuring up-to-date access to key information and training
