HiFyve is hiring a Sr. Chemical Engineer in the Dayton, OH metro!
Pay Range: $120k to $145k + Benefits
Location: Kettering, OH
Key Responsibilities
- Lead design and optimization of chemical processes to convert raw materials into finished products, driving efficiency and environmental compliance
- Oversee engineering projects including timelines, budgets, and cross-functional coordination with R&D, production, and quality teams
- Mentor and develop junior engineers, reinforcing best practices and technical standards
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality regulations through risk assessments and safety audits
- Identify and implement new technologies and process improvements to enhance performance and support new product development
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in chemical process design, scale-up, and troubleshooting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with process simulation software
- Effective communication and leadership capabilities
