Data Entry / Research Assistant

- Reports To: Lead Research Analyst
ABOUT THE ROLE:
- We are hiring a Data Entry / Research Assistant to support routine data collection and competitor research. This role reports directly to Lead Research Analyst and is focused on accurate, high-volume data work. Over time, the position may expand to include listing new products on our website
DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Research competitor pricing and product links through Google
- Enter collected data into standard Excel templates
- Flag notable pricing changes for review
- Maintain organized records and consistent file naming
- Verify data accuracy through spot checks before submission
- Communicate progress, blockers, and questions in a timely manner
- Support related administrative or research tasks as assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Intermediate Excel proficiency, including data entry and basic formulas (sorting, filtering, VLOOKUP a plus)
- Strong typing speed with consistent accuracy and attention to detail
- Fluent or native English proficiency for accurate reading and clear written communication
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage repetitive tasks without loss of quality
- Ability to follow written instructions and standard operating procedures
- Reliable, self-directed work ethic with the discipline to meet daily output targets
- Comfort working independently with regular check-ins
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior experience in data entry, research, or e-commerce support
- Familiarity with online retail or product catalog platforms
- High school diploma or equivalent
