This entry level position requires the ability to professionally complete the following tasks:
- Record client financial transactions including posting to accounting software from such source documents as bank statements, invoices, cash receipts or other documents. Also reconcile accounts to ensure their accuracy.
- Maintain and balance subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions and reconciling entries
- Prepare and report financial information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing client accounts
- Maintain and balance general ledger by transferring subsidiary account summaries, prepare trial balance and reconciling errors
- Assist clients with everyday accounting needs (which may exceed the scope of completing financial transactions or reports).
- Perform detailed research/adjustment functions
- Complete sales tax & payroll tax reports to be filed with multiple governmental agencies
- Generate federal reports 1099 and W-2
- Properly organize reports and other documents into client files both electronically and manually
- Use computers and other electronic communication devices as needed to complete the tasks mentioned above
- Answer office telephones
- Generate emails that communicate ideas in a clear and concise manner
- Bilingual: English and Spanish
