Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic Construction Lead to support our single family home remodel business under the guidance of the company’s Owner. This role is ideal for a handyman or tradesman with experience performing certain trades as well as leading a home remodel project from demo to 4-way inspection to listing the home for sale.

The Company is a boutique interior design and home remodel business based in Sandy, UT that manages diverse high-end interior design clients and investors. The Company also strategically purchases, remodels, and sells its own properties. The work environment is dynamic, detail-oriented, and collaborative, resembling a close-knit family. English, Portuguese, and Spanish are often spoken by our vibrant and multi-cultural team.
Ideal Candidate
We seek candidates that are able to monitor and achieve work efficiency and quality of workmanship for luxury-level remodels. The Construction Lead should also be well versed in remodel work tools, methods, and processes required to efficiently carry out a home remodel and deliver a quality product.
The Construction Lead must also be comfortable in assisting the General Contractor with site management. The role calls for resilience, a proactive attitude, and a readiness to learn on the go. We prefer a candidate that lives within no more than 30 minutes from our office location in Sandy, UT.
Responsibilities
- Assist the General Contractor with site management.
- Perform remodel work when available and when qualified e.g., demo, framing, finish carpentry etc.
- Participate in creating a remodel schedule as well as ensuring that the the remodel schedule is executed as planned
- Create bill of materials (BOM) and make purchases
- Organize and manage raw material and product inventory
- Proactively communicate with colleagues e.g., General Contractor, Interior Designers.
- Maintaining and managing job site 5S
Requirements
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to use construction information platforms that help organize and track construction schedules, progress photos, expense receipts etc.
- Able to creatively solve problems, and work and lead independently
- Able to read architectural plans, structural engineering drawings, design look books etc.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a truck that has the ability to carry raw materials from stores to job sites
- Recognize and appreciate the diverse backgrounds, cultures, and perspectives of team members and clients.
Pay: Starting at $35 per hour
Expected Hours: Minimum 40 hours per week
Location: Sandy, UT, Various Job Sites
