Job DescriptionOffice Manager
Overview
We are seeking a positive, organized, and detailfocused Office Manager to support daily operations and serve as the first point of contact for visitors. This role is fully onsite in the Farmington Hills area and centers on general office management, event coordination, and administrative support. For candidates with the right background, up to 25% sales support may be added over time.
Key Responsibilities• Coordinate travel arrangements for staff and leadership
• Manage purchasing, ordering, and general office supply needs
• Handle building and landlord communication, including facility issues
• Provide administrative support to the CFO
• Plan and coordinate company events, retreats, and celebrations
• Take on additional responsibilities based on skill set and capability
• Not a frontdesk receptionist role
What We’re Looking For• Warm, positive, and professional presence—this person is the first face visitors see
• Reasonable commute to the Farmington Hills area (local candidates historically perform best)
• Strong general computer skills, especially Microsoft Office
• Fully inoffice availability (no hybrid option)
• Ability to learn internal systems and processes through specialized inhouse training
• Automotive industry experience is a plus, but not required
• Bilingual abilities (Spanish preferred) are a plus, not a requirement
Work Structure & Growth• Open to both direct hire and contracttohire options
• Career path is not guaranteed, though some individuals have shifted into sales support roles in the past
• Summer hours: fourhour Fridays between Memorial Day and Labor Day
Compensation• Salary range: $40,000 – $60,000 annually, depending on experience
