We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Field Technical Instructor (FTI) to deliver engaging, hands-on training programs focused on Industrial Automation and Control Systems. Travel: 10 to 25% travel to customer sites, including occasional weekend travel

Position Summary
\n
The Field Technical Instructor is responsible for delivering high-quality technical training programs to customers both at company facilities and on-site. The ideal candidate will have strong presentation skills, excellent communication abilities, and hands-on expertise in Industrial Automation products and systems.
\n
This role requires continuous development of instructional techniques and technical knowledge while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and training effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
\n

- Deliver performance-based technical training for customers at training centers and customer sites.
- Collaborate with customers to identify training needs and provide customized learning solutions.
- Maintain technical competency in assigned courses and continuously expand product knowledge.
- Develop and enhance instructional delivery and presentation skills.
- Set up, tear down, and properly pack classroom and training equipment.
- Maintain training equipment in good working condition.
- Identify and communicate issues that may impact course delivery or customer satisfaction.
- Assess student performance and provide appropriate coaching or remedial instruction.
- Review course evaluations and implement improvements as needed.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and training effectiveness.
- Develop knowledge of target industries and customer applications.
- Support sales initiatives by identifying training and product opportunities.
- Serve as a mentor and professional role model for associates and trainees.

Qualifications
\n
Required Education & Experience
\n
- \n
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Education, Electrical Engineering, Technical Instruction, or a related technical discipline; or
- 5-10 years of relevant field experience in Industrial Automation.

\n
Preferred Experience
\n
- \n
- Previous teaching or instructional experience in Industrial Automation Controls.

Technical Skills

Hands-on experience using and programming Rockwell Automation hardware and software, including:

Physical & Travel Requirements

- Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively (100% travel required).
