Our client, a leading independent global investment bank, is actively seeking an Analyst for its Consumer team. The group advises clients across retail, consumer products, food & beverage, beauty, wellness, and e-commerce, and is recognized for its deep sector expertise, strong relationships with founders, entrepreneurs, corporate clients, and private equity sponsors, as well as its successful track record in strategic advisory and transaction execution.
The Analyst will work closely with senior bankers and clients across all stages of live transactions and business development initiatives. This role offers significant exposure to M&A and capital raising assignments, with substantial responsibility in financial analysis, valuation work, transaction execution, and preparation of client materials.
Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining detailed financial models and valuation analyses, including DCF, comparable company, precedent transaction, and LBO analyses; preparing pitch books, confidential information memoranda, management presentations, and other marketing materials; conducting industry, market, and company research; supporting due diligence processes and transaction coordination; managing data rooms and buyer/investor outreach; and assisting senior bankers in the execution of strategic advisory assignments.
The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of relevant investment banking experience, preferably within consumer, retail, or broader industry coverage groups. Candidates should demonstrate strong financial modeling, analytical, and quantitative skills, along with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, a collaborative and team-oriented mindset, and a genuine interest in consumer trends and markets are essential. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, intellectually curious, and capable of thriving in a demanding, client-focused environment. Bachelor's degree required.
