We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team in Jacksonville, IL. As an Electrician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and functionality of electrical systems in our facility. Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
  • Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues.
  • Ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople and team members to complete projects efficiently.
  • Respond to service calls and troubleshoot electrical problems in a timely manner.
  • Document work performed and maintain accurate records of repairs and installations.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an electrician apprenticeship program preferred.
  • Valid electrician's license and/or certification in the state of Illinois.
  • Proven experience as an electrician, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and safety protocols.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
