Job Title: Bilingual Charge Entry Representative
Location: Chicago, IL 60629
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $18.00-$22.00 per hour (pay is dependent on experience)
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Bilingual Charge Entry Specialist to support our revenue cycle operations. This role is heavily focused on data entry, charge entry, and ensuring accurate transfer of patient and billing information between systems. The ideal candidate is highly organized, efficient, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a strong emphasis on accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter charges into the system accurately and in a timely manner.
- Perform high-volume data entry, ensuring all information is complete and correct.
- Transfer patient demographic information from the EMR system to the Practice Management System.
- Review procedure codes and physician documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Assist with scheduling-related tasks, including loading patient information into the EMR prior to appointments.
- Maintain data integrity across systems to support accurate billing and reimbursement.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bilingual in Spanish and English required.
- 1-2 years of experience in charge entry, coding, collections, billing, payment posting, or claims processing.
- Strong typing and data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.
- Detail-oriented.
- Comfortable working with multiple systems and handling high-volume workloads.
