Job Title: Sales Representative
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Representative to join our team. This role requires working in the office as well as traveling to meet with current and potential customers. The ideal candidate has proven sales experience, strong communication skills, and a drive to build new relationships while achieving sales goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities by researching and contacting potential customers.
- Meet with customers in person and conduct regular visits to showcase products and build partnerships.
- Work in the office to coordinate orders, prepare quotes, and follow up on leads.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets by driving revenue growth and expanding customer base.
- Collaborate with the order desk and warehouse teams to ensure smooth fulfillment of customer orders.
- Provide exceptional customer service by resolving inquiries and assisting with product recommendations.
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, and customer communications.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in sales is required (wholesale or furniture industry strongly preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred (or equivalent work experience).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts.
- Comfortable with both office-based work and traveling to meet customers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and CRM systems.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
Work Schedule:
- Full-time position, Monday through Friday.
- Travel required as needed to meet with customers and develop new business.
