About the Role:

We're looking for a Civil Engineer to support the design, layout, and integration of FRP-based infrastructure and architectural systems. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who enjoys both technical design and field collaboration. You'll work closely with project managers, production teams, and external partners to ensure our innovative solutions meet the highest standards of performance and constructability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and coordinate composite components and assemblies for building and infrastructure applications.
  • Perform engineering calculations and validate designs using sound judgment.
  • Review project plans for constructability and provide practical recommendations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align engineering with fabrication and installation needs.
  • Assist with technical drawings, submittals, and coordination with architects and contractors.
  • Conduct field checks and support installation teams with engineering input.
  • Maintain documentation for code compliance and QA/QC protocols.
  • Contribute to R&D efforts for new FRP products and applications.

What You Bring:

  • 3+ years in civil engineering or related roles, ideally with exposure to building or infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD; familiarity with structural or civil engineering software is a plus.
  • Understanding of construction documents and building codes (IBC, ACI, AISC, etc.).
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, preferred.
  • EIT or PE license (or in progress), experience with composites, Revit/BIM tools, and field oversight, preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and technical writing skills.
  • Standard office setting with occasional visits to manufacturing or job sites (up to 10% travel).
  • Ability to sit for extended periods and lift materials up to 15 lbs.
