Birthing Specialist / Program Administrator (Licensed Midwife)
Location: Sacramento, CA (On-site / Community-Based)
Organization: United And Guided (UAG)
Salary Range: $78,000 $88,000 annually (DOE)
Schedule: Full-time
About the Role
The Birthing Specialist / Program Administrator will serve as United And Guideds Licensed Midwife and core member of the Dyadic Care clinical team. This position blends administrative leadership with hands-on perinatal care to ensure that families receive whole-person, dyadic, and culturally responsive services from pregnancy through a childs early years.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide prenatal, labor, postpartum, and lactation support for program participants.
- Collaborate with the LCSW and Mental Health Specialist to deliver integrated Dyadic Care.
- Conduct developmental and perinatal screenings, charting within Medi-Cal guidelines.
- Supervise and mentor Co-Ed Doula Teams and Community Health Workers.
- Develop program schedules, community workshops, and family education materials.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and care coordination.
- Represent UAG in local birth equity coalitions and early childhood partnerships.
Qualifications
- Licensed Midwife (California Medical Board) required.
- 2+ years of perinatal or community midwifery experience preferred.
- Strong documentation, communication, and team leadership skills.
- Experience with trauma-informed, culturally responsive birthing support.
