The position:
There is no experience required for this position.
Associates are expected to operate at a professional level with consideration to safety, quality and productivity. It is essential that Associates are focused on all three while maintaining a professional relationship with customers, peers, management and vendors. Only positive, hardworking conscientious people should apply.
· Work hours: Monday – Friday daytime. Occasional Saturdays as Overtime.
· Put away flat and round steel bar to the correct location.
· Pull and prepare customer orders for same day shipment.
· Pick steel product utilizing a sales order, RF scanner and/or Stand-up and Sit-down forklift.
What we offer:
- Starting wage - $22.84/hr.
- $1/hr. increase each year until top rate is reached.
- Guaranteed contract raise each year also- $.75/hr.

Required experience and skills:
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and perform accurately under deadline conditions.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
- Flexible - Multi-purpose performance responding to changing workflow demands.
- Ability to routinely lift and carry 80 pounds.
- Must be comfortable in a warehouse setting and operating forklifts and small industrial sawing and packaging equipment. Paid Training is provided.
· Good basic organizational and communication skills.
· Ability and desire to keep work area clean, swept and organized.
Optional useful skills/knowledge:
· Knowledgeable with dimensions and diameters (micrometer) is a plus but not required.
· Forklift – usage of Stand-up or Sit-down lift - also not required.
Must pass drug test (INCLUDING marijuana), physical and background check.
