Joint Trench Program Manager
6 Months Contract
Hybrid Onsite , Moutain View ,CA
Monday to Friday (Standard PST business hours)
$60.00/hr -$65.00/hr on w2.DOE


Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Joint Trench Program Manager to support the end-to-end execution of greenfield fiber deployment projects. This individual will be responsible for managing project submissions, conducting feasibility assessments, coordinating with design partners, and identifying new business opportunities in the greenfield space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Submit selected greenfield projects into Salesforce and track them through implementation using Sitetracker
  • Conduct OSP Feasibility and Cost Estimate assessments using a desktop cost estimator
  • Complete SFU PASS models and BBO Intake forms for exception request evaluations
  • Ensure timely delivery of conduit to approved project sites.
  • Support centralized reporting on joint trench performance using standardized metrics.
  • Serve as the point-of-contact for joint trench design firms, managing conduit plan delivery and As-Built documentation.
  • Use data from Zonda and permitting software to identify new greenfield project opportunities.
  • Conduct in-market research to determine the presence and activity of other fiber providers, including their involvement in joint trench projects

Mandatory Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing construction projects in a joint trench environment with cable/fiber operators
  • 5 years of experience in network operations, network engineering, or network construction.
  • Proficiency with CAD and GIS systems.
  • Experience with FTTH records and As-Built documentation.
  • Background working with telecommunications providers, power companies, or cable providers
  • Experience with SFU Greenfield designs and construction.

Desired Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience designing fiber networks or building to a fiber matrix.
  • Familiarity with GIS applications such as 3GIS, QGIS, or Google Earth.
  • Experience working directly with homebuilders and developers for joint trench telecom projects.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-disciplinary project teams.
  • Experience coordinating with vendors and stakeholders.
