Anyone traveling more than 60 miles one way to Holy Cross is eligible for a travel stipend of $60 per day.\n

\nFacilitates the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures." \n
\n
\n
- \n
- Prepares surgical operating suite with sterile drapes and sterile solutions as well as"appropriate"sterile and non-sterile instruments and supplies."
- Hands required/requested instruments and supplies to"surgeon"during surgery.""
- Assists"with preparing, transporting, positioning and draping patients."
- Maintains instruments in an organized manner and monitors/tracks"instruments counts"throughout procedures."
- Places"equipment and supplies in the operating"or labor & delivery"rooms"and arranges instruments according to preference cards.""Cleans"and checks"equipment"area."
- Hands"instruments and supplies to surgeon, holds retractors, cuts sutures, and performs other technical tasks as directed by surgeon during operation.""Orders, stocks, and"maintains"supplies for the"OR and"C-section suites."
- Organizes"in"preparation for end of case and"assists"in"clean"up and turnover of rooms.""Disposes"of all sharps, biohazardous waste items appropriately.""Handles"specimens properly."
- Reports"observations of changes in"patient's"conditions and level of consciousness to an RN or LPN"in a timely manner."

- Education: High School Diploma or GED. Completion of Surgical Technologists course from an accredited facility."
