Job Description
As a Plumbing Technician, you will perform a range of plumbing services from simple faucet repairs to complex water heater installations and plumbing system replacements.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to customer service calls and conduct thorough inspections of plumbing issues.
- Accurately diagnose problems, offer effective solutions and estimates, and successfully close service sales.
- Proficiently install and repair various plumbing fixtures, including sinks, toilets, bathtubs, water heaters, garbage disposal units, dishwashers, and water softeners.
- Conduct sewer and drain cleaning services in diverse environments such as basements, roofs, and confined spaces.
- Ensure thorough cleaning and restoration of work sites to meet pre-job conditions.
- Prepare invoices, total costs of services/products provided, collect payments, and explain guarantees, both in writing and on a provided smartphone.
Essential Skills
- 1+ years of experience within plumbing, mechanical, HVAC, or construction trade experience.
- Valid driver's license.
- Full knowledge of plumbing systems.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Proven track record in the sale of plumbing products and services preferred.
- Ability to gain Excavation Certification through Competent Person Training (OSHA requirement) within the first year of employment.
- Journeyman license or equivalent certification as specified by the state.
- Backflow certification (assistance provided).
- OSHA 10 certification (assistance provided).

Work Environment
Work primarily involves service plumbing in both commercial and residential buildings. You will be on the road all day conducting service calls. Shifts are scheduled from Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday, with shift times fixed upon start. Clock in as soon as you leave home each morning and earn 70 cents per mile traveled
