Position: Warehouse Service Associate
Location: Santa Clara, CA 95051
Client: Leading Medical Devices Industry
Duration: 2 months (May get extended)
Pay Rate: $27/hr on w2
Shift : 9 am – 5 pm M-F
JOB SUMMARY:
The Warehouse Service Associate is responsible for ensuring medical products are prepared and maintained for patient use, including both rental and customer-owned equipment. Work is primarily performed at the service center, with occasional assignments at customer facilities as approved by the Service Operations Manager or Supervisor. Key responsibilities include cleaning, disinfecting, performing operational checks, and completing minor repairs on Companyand non-Companyproducts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Safety
- Attend monthly safety meetings and actively promote safety awareness.
- Complete all required safety and compliance training modules on schedule.
- Complete medical testing in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including 5S activities.
- Identify and correct safety concerns promptly.
- Safely lift and carry up to 65 pounds using proper ergonomic and safety procedures.
Delivery & Removal
- Load and unload wheeled medical products weighing up to 1,680 pounds at customer sites, following proper safety procedures.
- Safely move and position Companyproducts within service centers.
- Secure products in truck beds independently using appropriate safety techniques.
Repair & Maintenance
- Perform general housekeeping duties, including sweeping and mopping.
- Troubleshoot and complete minor repairs on Companyproducts, addressing electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or cosmetic issues.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance on various Companyproducts.
- Conduct pre-installation maintenance, preventive maintenance, and “before patient inspection” procedures, including:
- Visually, audibly, and manually inspecting products for operational or cosmetic issues.
- Using appropriate tools for adjustments and repairs.
- Monitoring electronic meters and gauges accurately.
Flexibility
- Adapt to a constantly changing schedule of daily activities.
- Exercise sound judgment to plan and organize tasks to meet customer demands.
- Manage stress effectively under high-pressure conditions, scheduling conflicts, and other operational challenges.
Recordkeeping
- Complete written documentation, including records, reports, and forms, for internal, regulatory, and project purposes.
- Read and comprehend technical bulletins related to the repair and maintenance of Companyproducts.
- Navigate electronic devices (PCs, smartphones, tablets) and applications to obtain, enter, and analyze information.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
