Community Broadband Networks (CBN) is a Wireless Internet Service Provider (WISP) expanding high-speed internet access to underserved communities. As our team grows, we’re seeking an organized and detail-oriented HR Assistant to support recruiting, onboarding, and day-to-day human resources operations.

Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the HR Manager and leadership team
- Assist with the full-cycle hiring process, including posting jobs, scheduling interviews, preparing offer letters, and coordinating new hire onboarding
- Maintain accurate employee files, HR systems, and compliance documentation
- Help update job descriptions to ensure compliance with prevailing wage regulations and company standard
- Knowledge of about certified/prevailing wage and construction-related accounting
- Assist in handling employee questions, benefits inquiries, and routine HR requests
- Track HR metrics such as attendance, turnover, and training completion
- Help ensure company policies and procedures are communicated and applied consistently
- Assist in coordinating compliance with local, state, and federal employment regulations
- provide essential administrative support to our growing team
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in HR, recruiting, or administrative support (preferred but not required)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (required); Associate’s or Bachelor’s in HR or related field preferred
- Ability to work full-time in person
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

This position plays a critical role in ensuring that materials required for network construction projects are properly sourced, ordered, verified, and delivered on time to support field construction and installation schedules.
The Procurement & Inventory Manager will work closely with engineering, project management, construction teams, vendors, and internal departments to manage the procurement lifecycle from initial material identification through delivery and staging. The role requires the ability to review engineering Bills of Materials (BOMs), confirm quantities and specifications, source materials through appropriate vendors, place purchase orders, and track shipments to ensure materials arrive at the correct locations in alignment with deployment timelines.
