Warehouse Auditor
Position Summary
The Warehouse Auditor is responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy, verifying shipments, and maintaining compliance with company policies and operational procedures. This role plays a critical part in preventing inventory discrepancies, supporting quality control, and improving warehouse efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular cycle counts and full inventory audits
- Verify inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy
- Compare physical inventory to system records and report discrepancies
- Investigate and resolve inventory variances
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company standards
- Maintain detailed and accurate audit documentation
- Assist with process improvement initiatives
- Work closely with warehouse supervisors and inventory control teams
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1–3 years of warehouse, inventory control, or auditing experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Basic math and data entry proficiency
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
