Job DescriptionAxios Professional Recruitment is proud to partner with a well-established electrical training and apprenticeship program in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Their team is seeking a self-motivated Office Manager to join a professional and friendly work environment.Responsibilities:
- Process applications and coordinate with the Training Director to schedule aptitude tests and interviews.
- Support the Training Director with various administrative functions, including:
- Tracking apprentice work hours
- Managing bill payments
- Preparing financial statements
- Organizing materials for committee meetings
- Answer incoming calls, direct inquiries, and provide information to callers.
- Communicate with apprentices via phone, mail, or email as needed.
- Assist with apprentice registrations, VA hours forms, and gain proficiency with the USDOL and NJATC websites.
- Stay familiar with program details to inform the public and prospective applicants.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
- Experience managing financial statements, customer relations, and document preparation
- Proficiency in Google Drive and Quickbooks
- Strong multitasking skills and the ability to thrive in a team environment
