Job DescriptionAxios Professional Recruitment is proud to partner with a well-established electrical training and apprenticeship program in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Their team is seeking a self-motivated Office Manager to join a professional and friendly work environment.Responsibilities:

  • Process applications and coordinate with the Training Director to schedule aptitude tests and interviews.
  • Support the Training Director with various administrative functions, including:
    • Tracking apprentice work hours
    • Managing bill payments
    • Preparing financial statements
    • Organizing materials for committee meetings
  • Answer incoming calls, direct inquiries, and provide information to callers.
  • Communicate with apprentices via phone, mail, or email as needed.
  • Assist with apprentice registrations, VA hours forms, and gain proficiency with the USDOL and NJATC websites.
  • Stay familiar with program details to inform the public and prospective applicants.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • Experience managing financial statements, customer relations, and document preparation
  • Proficiency in Google Drive and Quickbooks
  • Strong multitasking skills and the ability to thrive in a team environment
