Position: RN-PICU-Pediatrics Intensive Care Unit (Travel/Contract)

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients in the PICU.

• Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting changes accurately.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

• Utilize evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes.

• Set and achieve personal performance goals aligned with team objectives.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.

• Engage in performance evaluations and feedback sessions to improve skills.

• Educate families on care plans and health management for their children.

• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.

• Contribute to a positive team environment and support colleagues.

Experience/Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California with pediatric care experience.

• Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality nursing care in a PICU setting.

• Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.

• Proficiency in monitoring and documenting patient conditions accurately.

• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams for patient care.

• Experience in administering medications and treatments as prescribed.

• Ability to set personal performance goals and achieve targets.
