Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT standards) Active North Carolina Occupational Therapy License Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification with AED 1+ years of experience as an occupational therapist Experience recommending assistive equipment/devices Familiarity with physical therapy, speech therapy, and mental health services
Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial and ongoing evaluations in alignment with NBCOT & NC regulations. Develop and implement client-centered treatment plans, including caregiver training
- Provide engaging therapy sessions in clinic and community settings to optimize patient outcomes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary professionals to enhance treatment strategies
- Maintain thorough documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient progression
- Support Occupational Therapy Assistants (if applicable) per NBCOT standards
