Busy company will be adding to their team. Prior experience in a call center or similar customer service in an office with order processing, quoting, and troubleshooting is needed. 18months or more experience at the same company in a customer service role.
Most of your day is on the phone working with customers for products questions, availability, entering and processing orders, follow-up calls with customers, and a variety of clerical duties. Good with measurements and basic math aptitude.
Fast-paced with deadlines. Temporary to start with a chance to be hired on as a regular employee. Company will interview in a couple of weeks for a February training class.
Skills needed:
- Touch typing above 30wpm
- MS Outlook email, basic Excel, and Word
- Basic math calculations
- Manual and digital recordkeeping
- Follow-up skills
- Keen attention to detail
- High school diploma or GED/Equivalent
8a-5p 4 days per week, and 7a-5pm (1 hour overtime) on Wednesdays. Occasional Saturdays. Temporary-to-hire. Candidate needs to be very punctual to work.
$19.25/hr. Increase in pay to $20/hr if hired as a regular employee, with an opportunity to learn product lines & test for proficiency with small pay increases upon satisfactory completion/passing test for each product line mastered. Nice benefits, too.
