General Superintendent - Healthcare Projects

Job Description

A construction management firm is seeking a General Superintendent to oversee large-scale healthcare construction projects in the Miami area. This is a high-level leadership role for an experienced professional who can manage multiple teams, ensure compliance with stringent healthcare standards, and deliver projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide overall leadership and direction for multiple healthcare construction projects.
• Supervise and mentor project superintendents and field staff.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, building codes, and healthcare-specific requirements.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless execution.
• Implement infection control and other healthcare compliance measures during construction.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in commercial construction, with at least 2 years in a senior superintendent or general superintendent role.
• Proven track record managing healthcare projects (hospitals, clinics, or medical facilities).
• Strong knowledge of healthcare construction standards, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
• Familiarity with Miami healthcare market and AHCA (Agency for Health Care Administration) requirements.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
