Comrise is seeking a skilled and passionate Instructional Designer to join our Operations Training team. In this role, you will translate complex business requirements into engaging, effective learning solutions that empower teams to operate and service products efficiently.

Job Overview

  • Location: Foster City, CA (On-site)

  • Pay Rate: $67.78 USD Per Hour

  • Role Type: Instructional Design

  • Travel: Up to 15% as needed to support training initiatives across business locations

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Design: Design and develop blended learning experiences, including instructor-led (ILT), virtual (vILT), and eLearning solutions.

  • Collaboration: Partner with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and cross-functional teams to co-create dynamic curricula using AGILE methodologies.

  • Digital Development: Build interactive and immersive online learning content using modern authoring tools with a focus on SCORM compliance.

  • Evaluation & Iteration: Assess training effectiveness and implement iterative improvements to drive measurable learning outcomes.

  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline content development and production efficiency while adhering to brand standards.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Experience: 6–8 years of instructional design experience, specifically focusing on blended learning (OLT, ILT, and vILT).

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field.

  • Software Proficiency: Working knowledge of Articulate 360 (Rise & Storyline), Camtasia/Google Video, Vyond, Canva, and Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Key Skills: Strong conceptual design skills, adult learning principle foundation, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent change.

  • Industry Experience: Autonomous Vehicle or Operations training experience is preferred but not required.

  • Portfolio: A portfolio of instructional design work samples is required to demonstrate your approach to content design and strategy.
