ADCO Medical Suppliers is seeking a full-time Staff Accountant/Full Charge Bookkeeper who will be the primary contact for key accounting functions. This position requires the ability to work independently, ensuring the accuracy and timely completion of important tasks including, but not limited to:
· Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, payments, and collections
· Daily credit card and bank account settlements
· Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow
· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
· Contract accounting and reporting. Ensure compliance with federal contracting and accounting regulations as applicable
· Handles all inbound accounting emails and phone calls
· Manage and file business licenses, and other required filings
· Assist with sales tax filings and necessary licenses/registrations
· Team credit card reconciliations and journal entries
· Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
· Financial recordkeeping
· Loan and interest management
· Maintain and manage the general ledger, including journal entries and account reconciliations
· Financial closing (monthly, quarterly, annually)
· Maintain organized and accurate financial records and documentation
· Coordinate with external CPA for year-end close and tax preparation
· Keeps abreast of new laws and regulations effecting area of responsibility
· Identify and implement process improvements for greater efficiency and accuracy
The ideal candidate for this position has the ability to learn quickly, work well with a small team, works best independently (once trained) and has the following skills and abilities:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
· 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a small business or independent role
· Strong understanding of GAAP and full-cycle accounting
· Intermediate to Advanced MS Office skills – must be highly proficient in Excel
· Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality of sensitive information required
· Experience using Netsuite is preferred but not required
· Experience with contract reporting, including transactional data reporting and IFF remittance, preferred but not required
· Attention to detail, multi-tasking and able to work with other functions

Schedule:
Monday-Friday
· 9am – 3:30pm in office (Littleton, CO)
· 3:30pm – 5pm flex hours
