Warehouse Worker
Job Description
The primary role of the Warehouse Worker involves efficiently loading and unloading freight, accurately checking in inventory, collaborating with the office manager to ensure inventory accuracy, and managing warehouse inventory. This includes planning item locations to maximize efficiency, preparing and palletizing shipments, communicating with freight companies, pulling orders for salespeople, and loading customers. Additionally, the role includes handling deliveries both in and out of town.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight with accuracy and efficiency.
- Check in inventory and ensure accurate records.
- Collaborate with office manager for inventory management.
- Plan item locations within the warehouse for maximum efficiency.
- Prepare and palletize shipments for delivery.
- Communicate effectively with freight companies.
- Pull orders for salespeople and load customer orders.
- Handle deliveries in and out of town.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in logistics and inventory management.
- Experience in warehouse management and operations.
- Skills in shipping and receiving.
- Capability in supply chain management.
- Forklift operation experience, including sit-down and stand-up.
- Competence in material handling and truck loading/unloading.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Clean driving record.
- Valid driver's license.
- Physical capability with a strong back.
- Ability to take direction and work effectively as part of a team.
- Self-motivation and the ability to work independently.

Work Environment
The position operates in a warehouse environment with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and two Saturdays per month from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM

This is a Contract position based out of Albuquerque, NM.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.
