Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Audiologist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating hearing and balance disorders in patients of all ages, with a focus on providing exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a solid understanding of anatomy and physiology, and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess hearing and balance disorders.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments.
- Provide counseling and education to patients and their families regarding hearing health.
- Fit and dispense hearing aids and other assistive listening devices.
- Collaborate with otolaryngologists and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Utilize office software such as Excel for data management and reporting.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance the patient experience.
Experience
- A Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) or equivalent degree is required.
- Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of otolaryngology principles is advantageous.
- Familiarity with sales techniques related to audiology products is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills are essential for effective communication with patients.
- Proficient in office software applications, particularly Excel, for efficient record keeping and data analysis.
- A solid understanding of anatomy knowledge related to auditory systems is necessary.
- Previous experience in diagnostic evaluation techniques will be beneficial.
