Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Audiologist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating hearing and balance disorders in patients of all ages, with a focus on providing exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a solid understanding of anatomy and physiology, and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess hearing and balance disorders.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments.
  • Provide counseling and education to patients and their families regarding hearing health.
  • Fit and dispense hearing aids and other assistive listening devices.
  • Collaborate with otolaryngologists and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Utilize office software such as Excel for data management and reporting.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance the patient experience.

Experience

  • A Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) or equivalent degree is required.
  • Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Knowledge of otolaryngology principles is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with sales techniques related to audiology products is a plus.
  • Strong customer service skills are essential for effective communication with patients.
  • Proficient in office software applications, particularly Excel, for efficient record keeping and data analysis.
  • A solid understanding of anatomy knowledge related to auditory systems is necessary.
  • Previous experience in diagnostic evaluation techniques will be beneficial.
