Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years occupational therapy experience required.
An opportunity is available for an experienced professional to support students in a dynamic K-12 school environment in Hayward, CA. This contract position focuses on providing specialized services during the extended school year (ESY), catering to the diverse needs of students.
Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy (OT) license in California
- Experience working with K-12 students, particularly in school settings
- Strong understanding of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and relevant therapy practices
- Excellent munication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals
- Experience in providing therapy during summer programs or extended school year preferred

Responsibilities:
- Assess and develop treatment plans for students requiring occupational therapy
- Implement therapeutic activities that align with individual IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate therapy into the classroom
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy techniques as needed

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions and outes
