Position based in Largo, FL.
What You'll Do:
As a CT Technologist, you will play a vital role in our team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing CT procedures with minimal supervision, ensuring high-quality imaging.
- Obtaining patient histories, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns.
- Producing computerized tomographic images as per departmental protocols.
- Applying ionizing radiation safely to detect pathology.
- Regulating imaging equipment and documenting PACS imaging.
- Maintaining a safe and professional environment while performing various procedures.
- Building strong relationships with colleagues and facility staff.
- Utilizing your experience and judgment to achieve departmental goals.
- Working under general supervision and completing assigned duties.
What We’re Looking For:
To thrive in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:
- Certification as a Radiologic and Computerized Tomography Technologist by the State.
- Registration as an RT and CT Technologist by the A.R.R.T.
- Valid hands-on CPR certification.
Physical Demands:
This position may require:
- Lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds.
- Sitting for extended periods, with frequent standing and walking.
Dress Code:
Business casual or scrubs, depending on the department.
