Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) degree, active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license, and 1+ years Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Desired Skills and Experience:

Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license required
Previous experience in school-based therapy, particularly working with elementary, middle, and/or high school students, preferred
Strong understanding of educational environments and developmental stages
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to adapt and problem solve in fast-paced, diverse settings

Role Responsibilities:

Deliver occupational therapy services as directed by Occupational Therapists and per individual education plans (IEPs)
Utilize therapeutic strategies to foster student independence, access to curriculum, and overall well-being
Document progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP meetings as appropriate
Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure cohesive support for each student
Adjust interventions and approaches to meet unique needs across a broad age range
