Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) degree, active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license, and 1+ years Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license required
  • Previous experience in school-based therapy, particularly working with elementary, middle, and/or high school students, preferred
  • Strong understanding of educational environments and developmental stages
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to adapt and problem solve in fast-paced, diverse settings

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services as directed by Occupational Therapists and per individual education plans (IEPs)
  • Utilize therapeutic strategies to foster student independence, access to curriculum, and overall well-being
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP meetings as appropriate
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure cohesive support for each student
  • Adjust interventions and approaches to meet unique needs across a broad age range
