Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage blood glucose levels for diabetic students, administering treatment and medication as necessary
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all health services and treatments
- Collaborate with school staff to promote a safe and healthy learning environment
- Respond promptly to student health needs, ensuring compliance with care plans and school policies
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid LPN/LVN license with current credentials
- Experience working in California schools is preferred, ideally with knowledge of managing diabetic student care
- Strong documentation and communication skills critical for maintaining accurate health records and coordinating with school personnel
- Ability to work independently, managing multiple student health needs within a school setting
Position Details:
- Full-time contract position, approximately 28.75 hours per week during the academic school year
