Location: Denton, MD
Pay Rate: $55$65+ per hour (based on experience)

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLP) for full-time opportunities with school districts in the Denton, MD area. This role offers competitive pay, professional support, and the potential for contract renewal based on performance for the 20252026 school year.

Requirements:

Applicants must meet all local and state requirements, including:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

• Active Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist license issued by the Maryland Board of Audiologists, Hearing Aid Dispensers & Speech-Language Pathologists

• Current certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA CCC-SLP)

• Eligibility for or possession of Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) certification to work in school settings

• Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred

Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations, assessments, and screenings to determine speech and language needs

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student goals

• Provide direct therapy services to students with communication disorders

• Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support academic and social success

• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with district/state guidelines

• Support inclusive practices to enhance student engagement and achievement
