Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our Production team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the Production Management team, in manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing production processes, waste, and productivity rates.

Responsibilities:

  • Record and analyze daily productivity per department/ per machine
  • Perform SPC (statistical process control) analysis
  • Analyze scrap rates per department and per machine
  • Ensure daily scarp reporting per department is reliable and correct
  • Test randomly each department to ensure information is reported correctly
  • Provide weekly and monthly reports of analysis being performed per department to Senior Management
  • Help implement productivity and incentive programs for manufacturing personnel to help increase the individual output per machine
  • Keep all data and analysis in an organized manner and available for review at any time
  • Monthly manufacturing reporting: scrap analysis per department and for whole plant, including any information required from other facilities to complete such report
  • Follow up with Supervisors and Managers on findings and improvements needed
  • Work with the VP of manufacturing on any other production process analysis required

Qualifications :

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing facility and/or warehouse environment is preferred
  • 1-3 years in a similar role of continuous improvement
  • Knowledge of flexographic printing press, extrusion, and conversion process
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing and production systems
  • Advanced MS Office Experience_ (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)_
  • Bilingual: English & Spanish
