LHH is working with a client in Winston-Salem seeking a Permit Coordinator to join their team. This role will be contract-to-hire, onsite M-F 7:30-5 and paying $21-23/hr.
Responsibilities:

Receive new transportation orders and enter into TMS

Provide quotes for each lane

Ensure permits for each state are active and all parties supporting the load are aware of pickup/delivery dates

Communicate with drivers and clients regarding updates, delays, issues, etc.

Once delivered, close out and file within TMS
Qualifications:

Prior logistics/permitting experience preferred

Ability to learn quickly and take initiative

Strong communication skills
-
Prior experience using TMS a plus
