Inventory Clerk

Summary:
As an Inventory Clerk, you will support both office and warehouse operations. Through maintaining accurate inventory records, handling internal and external mail/courier responsibilities, and providing general administrative assistance you will help support IFSS and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities:
1. Inventory Support:
- Track and maintain office and warehouse supply inventories (e.g. office materials, shipping supplies, equipment).
- Receive, inspect, and log incoming inventory; notify appropriate personnel of deliveries.
- Assist with organizing and labeling storage areas and stockrooms.
- Coordinate restocking and reordering of supplies based on usage levels.
- Generate simple inventory reports as needed (weekly/monthly).
2. Mail & Courier Duties:
- Pick up and deliver interoffice mail, packages, documents, and supplies between departments, vendors, and external partners.
- Coordinate with external couriers (e.g. FedEx, UPS) for outgoing/incoming shipments.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of all mail and packages.
3. Administrative Support:
- Perform general clerical tasks such as filing, scanning, copying, and data entry.
- Greet and assist office visitors and vendors.
- Maintain records, spreadsheets, and internal databases (e.g., supply logs).
- Assist in scheduling appointments, meetings, and other staff support tasks.
- Support special projects and provide backup assistance for coworkers as needed.
4. Office Organization:
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming office environment.
- Ensure common areas, meeting rooms, and workspaces are neat and functional.
- Keep track of office supplies inventory and re-order as necessary.
5. Miscellaneous Tasks:
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education a plus.
- 12 years of administrative or inventory-related experience preferred.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and proactive attitude.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with basic office equipment and technology.
- Reliable and adaptable, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
