Medication Aide – Sauk Rapids, MN
EOSIS is hiring a Medication Aide to support patients receiving treatment for substance use and mental health challenges. In this role, you will assist the nursing team by administering medications and helping provide safe, compassionate care in a residential treatment environment.
Pay: $19–$22 per hour
Schedule: Full-time, 1st shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
What You Will Do

Administer prescribed medications under the supervision of a nurse

Verify patient identity and accurately document medications given

Observe patients after medication administration and report any concerns

Monitor vital signs when required

Maintain accurate medication records and documentation

Assist with medication inventory and restocking supplies

Support patients in their recovery while maintaining a safe environment
What We Are Looking For

Experience administering medications or assisting with medication management

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow medical procedures

Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare or treatment setting

Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications to patients and maintain medical records under the supervision of a nurse
- Verify identity of patient receiving medication and record the name of drug, and time of administration on specified forms or database
- Present medication to patient and observe ingestion or other application, or administer medication using specified procedures
- May take vital signs or observe patient to detect response to specified types of medications and prepare report or notify designated personnel of unexpected reactions
- Record and restock medication inventories
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Nursing Supervisor
Required Skills
- Must be 18 years or older
- High School education or GED
- Training of medication administration
- Minimum 1 year experience in a chemical dependency facility preferred
- CPR and first aid certified preferred, if not - we'll get you certified!
